JUST IN : Chelsea plot move to snatch £52m Liverpool Transfer Target ahead of next Season

Since arriving from Jagiellonia Białystok in January, Pietuszewski has wasted no time making an impact in Portugal’s Primeira Liga. In just 14 appearances he has registered 3 goals and 4 assists, showing the kind of direct dribbling, pace, and creativity that has earned him comparisons to Liverpool’s Luis Diaz.

Operating primarily off the left flank, he combines technical quality with the physicality and work rate that Premier League clubs prize. His current contract includes a £52m release clause, though Porto are reportedly moving quickly to negotiate an extension that would raise that figure and secure his future.

Liverpool have been monitoring him closely as a potential long-term option to strengthen their wide attacking options. However, Chelsea are also firmly in the conversation. Their recruitment model under recent ownership has prioritized signing elite young talent before their market value explodes, and Pietuszewski fits that profile perfectly. Chelsea’s interest adds another layer of competition, turning what was already a race against time into a potential Premier League tug-of-war.

The situation remains fluid. Porto want to keep their “crown jewel,” but if Chelsea or Liverpool act decisively, a summer move could materialize. For Chelsea, landing him would signal intent to dominate the next generation of wide attackers.
