“If he chooses Chelsea over Manchester City, I’ll resign as a football coach… He’s the player we can’t afford to see him play for them; they may become undefeatable with him,” Pep Guardiola, angered by the world-class player’s decision to join Chelsea as Manchester City increased their bid to convince him to transfer.

Chelsea have had a lot of players on their radar this summer and are confident they can at least make a bid for some since Enzo Maresca still wants to bolster his left wing and probably add another name to the defense if truly Trevor chalobah leaves this summer.
According to reports, Chelsea have increased their search for a striker with Nico William hijacked by Barcelona, though a bid hasn’t been issued yet. It seems if the Spaniard doesn’t move early, Chelsea may likely serve his destination.
With the transfer of Conor Gallagher increasing desperation among fans, the Blues may still have to get his move on the card before the end of the window.
Chelsea’s linked with Nico William may likely get some setbacks as Manchester City and Manchester United are reportedly interested in making offers.
Though Chelsea are on the verge of missing out, they may still have the player booked since he’s rated as one of the most prolific goal scorers at Athletic Bilbao.
Nico William’s fame has not gone unnoticed, yet he is attracting interest from huge-profile clubs across the world.
He was able to secure 32 goals in 53 appearances in all competitions, placing him as one of the best prospects for a move to either of the London clubs.
Meanwhile, Enzo Maresca is still monitoring the player closely, though Chelsea aren’t in the top tier but may likely emerge with a fast bid if the player doesn’t move in time.
Chelsea wish to sell two players to avoid entangling with the FFP rule, and pushing their academy graduate Conor Gallagher out will mark a clear profit for them and probably enable them to get back into the market by securing more prolific options.
With the speculation about Conor Gallagher still in the air, the player has also hinted that he doesn’t wish to make any moves and that he prefers playing in West London.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea may sell Conor Gallagher to Atletico Madrid or Tottenham.
Recently, the English talent has been valued on a £50 million release clause, which would be enough for Chelsea to bid for Nico William if the price arrives early.
However, if Chelsea are unable to find a suitor with the stated price, they may probably provide another contract option for the 24-year-old, as he’s currently running for the last twelve months of his contract at West London.
