Desire Doue to Chelsea


Transfer speculation surrounding Desire Doue, a 19-year-old French forward, has been gaining momentum. Chelsea has been linked to the talented youngster, but no official transfer has been confirmed. Doue impressed for Rennes in Ligue 1 last season, scoring four goals and adding six assists in 43 appearances across all competitions. His performances have caught the attention of top European clubs, including Chelsea.


Doue is set to represent France at the Olympic Games, where Chelsea and Arsenal will have a closer look at him. Rennes' sporting director, Frederic Massara, stated that the club can reject any offer and will consider huge bids on a case-by-case basis.
