BREAKING NEWS: Chelsea handed Manchester United a triple boost as Nicolas Jackson made a surprise decision.
Enzo Maresca has been so busy in the market in order to reinforce his depth this season, with the hope of emerging at least among the top fighters after an overwhelming last season under Mauricio Pochetinno, and recent reports have claimed that Chelsea are up to bring a new name before the week runs out.
According to the Sun, Chelsea are ready to let up to 12 more players leave this summer, and Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, Đorđe Petrović, Ben Chilwell, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Romelu Lukaku, Lesley Ugochukwu, Armando Broja, Cesare Casadei, David Datro, Fofana Harvey, and Vale Leo Castledine are currently linked.
Reports claim that Enzo Maresca wants to bolster his attacking prowess, so he set about linking more experienced players to his reinforcements within the forward line.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have already finalized that a possible deal with Fillip Jorgensen could come up today, as all offers were accepted yesterday for the player’s signature.
Also, Chelsea have decided to offload a lot of players this summer in order to bring in new names to the current depth, and it’s been reported that some moves are inconceivably pending major transfers that would have come up before the end of the week.
Recently, Napoli had hinted at swapping Romelo Lukaku for their overrated striker Victor Osimhen this summer, but it seems Chelsea got stocked in the deal as Paris Saint-Germain reportedly made a £80 offer for the 26-year-old, though it was rejected.
Now, it seems Chelsea wouldn’t be looking in that direction despite the players interest in playing at one of the Premier League clubs, as Enzo Maresca has already finalized that he wouldn’t opt for Osimhen with the current price tag.
However, Manchester City have also agreed that if Chelsea could step up to trigger the £60 million release clause on Alvarez, it would probably help them solve their number nine issues as well, and recently, the manager has been working towards making a deal this summer.
With more speculation surrounding Kepa Arrizablata’s move in order to raise an acceptable sum for the transfer, Saudi Pro League club Al-Iltihad has already made plans to sign the player. The move for Arrizablata is probably the priority because the £72 million release clause could secure whatever deal Chelsea might have plotted to engage before the window shuts.
Chelsea are also ready to agree on the £30 million plus add-on for Conor Gallagher’s move to Atletico Madrid this summer, with reports also claiming the Blues could seal the deal this weekend. And Trevor Chalobah has also been admired by Manchester United, with Erik Ten Han willing to add up more support to compliment Harry Maguire’s injury.
Enzo Maresca would be hoping to record another huge signing this week, as most fans are desperate to see Julian Alvarez in Blues.
